Your text stays on your device

Everything you paste into TidyText.click is converted by JavaScript running in your own browser. The text is never sent to our servers or to anyone else, it is not logged and it is not stored. Closing the tab removes it. The site keeps working after it has loaded even without an internet connection.

What is stored in your browser

Two small preferences are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them next time: your light or dark theme, and the cleanup options you have ticked. Neither contains any of your text, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which parts of the page are used, so we know what to improve. It records the page you viewed, your approximate location at country or city level, your browser and device type, and the referring site. It does not receive anything you paste into the tool. Analytics loads only after your first interaction with the page.

Cookies

TidyText.click sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics may set its cookies to tell returning visitors apart; see Google's cookie policy.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, sees the technical details of each request (such as your IP address) in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
